Their decision to dismantle their championship-contending roster and assemble a new squad with questionable synergy has left analysts scratching their heads.
HyDra, Scrap, and Envoy joining Ghosty?
It’s a gamble that could either propel them to new heights or send them plummeting to the bottom of the standings.
On the other end of the spectrum, the Carolina Royal Ravens seem determined to achieve a new level of mediocrity.
They released veteran Clayster, briefly flirted with Beans, and are now rumored to be on the chopping block entirely.
It’s like they’re playing a game of organizational Jenga, and they’re one wrong move away from a catastrophic collapse.
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
Some teams actually made sensible moves (Crazy, right?)
The Minnesota RØKKR finally parted ways with the wildly inconsistent Accuracy, and the Vegas Falcons (formerly Legion) cleaned house, replacing their entire roster with a fresh batch of talent.
Meanwhile, the Miami Heretics made a shrewd acquisition in RenKoR, adding much-needed firepower to their lineup.
And while the OpTic Texas chose to stick with their championship-winning roster, sometimes consistency is the best strategy.

As the 2025 CDL season approaches, several questions remain unanswered:

- Can the Vancouver Surge (formerly Seattle) escape the clutches of mediocrity?
